The UST Men's Golf team had a strong showing in the first round of the Crusader Cup at Hawks Creek Golf Club in Fort Worth, TX, where they wrapped up Day 1 tied for second place with Texas Lutheran, each finishing at 10-over-par. With a close field and tight scores, the Celts are in a solid position to challenge for the top spot as they head into the final round.
The team saw standout performances from Antonio Ramirez and Marshall Hatcher. Ramirez led the way for St. Thomas with a remarkable 3-under-par, placing him in the top spot. Hatcher followed with an even-par finish, placing him third overall and helping to secure the team's strong standing.
Other Celts golfers, including Cameron Curtis (+5), Landon Chau (+8), Lawson Fiscus (+8), and Isaac Voisinet (+9), contributed to the team's solid positioning in a competitive field. Each player showcased resilience on the course, battling through challenging holes and adding crucial scores for the Celts.
