
The University of St. Thomas men's golf team concluded their time at the Alamo City Classic in San Antonio, improving each round over two grueling days at The Quarry Golf Course. On Monday, the Celts shot a +18 for Round 1 and followed it up with a 15 over Round 2. Today, they continued the positive trend and hit a 3rd Round +13 to finish 5th in the team standings.

Battling stiff competition and the hot Texas sun, the Celts delivered a few standout individual performances showcasing their resilience and potential. Antonio Ramirez led the charge for St. Thomas, who remained consistent throughout the tournament. His rounds of +2 across all three days earned him an impressive 8th-place and 6-over finish. Ramirez's steady play highlighted his ability to remain composed under pressure, and his performance was a bright spot for the Celts.
Close behind was Marshall Hatcher, who finished tied for 9th at +7. After a strong start in the first round, Hatcher continued to battle through the final two rounds, showing his determination to stay near the top of the leaderboard. His performance reflected his growth as a competitor, setting the stage for even stronger finishes ahead.
Cameron Curtis also made a significant impact, ending the tournament 15th with a +10 overall score. Curtis delivered solid rounds across the board, with moments of brilliance that hinted at his potential to climb even higher in future events.
