
At the conclusion of Day two, Men's Golf dropped to third place at the SCAC Championships. Led by Zach Allen, the Celts finished with a team score of 309 to fall one spot in the rankings.
After the scores were tallied, the Celts are one stroke (+35) behind Trinity University (+34) heading into the final day of action.
The Lineup
Zach Allen was steady on the course in round two. Finishing with a 76 (+4), Allen had 12 pars and a birdie to finish 7th place.
Freshman Antonio Ramirez lowered his round-one score by two strokes to a 75 (+3). Ramirez had an impressive outing that included 3 birdies to keep himself in the top 10 at 8th place.
Marshall Hatcher was also a key place for the Celts finishing 21st at the end of round two. Hatcher fired a 78 (+6) and had 11 pars and 3 birdies to close out the day.
Cameron Curtis struggled on day two and increased his score by 8 strokes to 82 (+10). Curtis had 9 pars on the day and will look to bounce back in the final round.
Lastly, Patrick Smetek finished 18th at the end of round two with an 80 (+8). Smetek struggled and had a triple bogey on hole 5 which increased his score by three strokes.
