Women's Cross Country Competes at Bronco Invitational

The St. Thomas (Tex.) Woman's Cross Country Team participated in the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, where they faced tough competition in the 6k race. As a team, the Celts finished 14th out of 19 teams, demonstrating their determination and effort in a highly competitive field.

The individual performances were notable, with several team members achieving strong results:

  • Sophia Sanchez (SR): Sophia finished with a time of 24:23.0, leading the St. Thomas team.
  • Samantha Hernandez (SR): Samantha completed the race in 24:36.9, contributing to the team's performance.
  • Ashlee Garcia (FR): Ashlee crossed the finish line in 24:39.0, displaying her potential as a freshman.
  • Alejandra Ramon (FR): Alejandra completed the race in 24:45.6, demonstrating her promise as a freshman athlete.
  • Victoria Ramirez (SO): Victoria posted a solid time of 25:25.7, showing her dedication to the team.
  • Kianna Stamps (FR): Kianna finished the race in 25:45.0, making her presence felt as a freshman.
  • Elizabeth Stepaniak (JR): Elizabeth completed the course in 26:31.9, contributing to the team's effort.

While the team finished 14th, the individual performances showcased the talent and potential of the St. Thomas (Tex.) Woman's Cross Country Team. They competed admirably in a challenging field, and with dedication and continued hard work, they have the potential to achieve even greater success in the future.
