The St. Thomas men's soccer team delivered an impressive 6-1 win over the University of the Ozarks on Monday afternoon at SaberCats Stadium. The victory improves the Celts to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in SCAC action.

The first half was marked by an intense struggle for control, with both teams exchanging attacks. In the 26th minute, Daniel Castro broke the deadlock, scoring the Celts and the game's first goal. However, the University of the Ozarks responded four minutes later when Giovanni Casias netted an equalizer in the 30th minute. The battle continued, but right before halftime, Jovany Garcia capitalized on an assist from Tony Castro, sending the Celts into the break with a 2-1 advantage.

The second half saw St. Thomas carry their momentum forward, and they quickly extended their lead. In the 58th minute, Daniel Castro scored his second goal of the game off a well-earned penalty kick. Less than two minutes later, Tony Castro received a beautiful pass from Aldo Hernadez, and the game was sealed. Coach Ernesto Ramirez substituted freely, and the new crew took advantage of their time on the Pitch. Sophomore Brian Garcia scored in the 69th minute off another assist from Tony Castro. Finally, freshman Jorge Lucas ended the match and the Celts' scoring with an 81st-minute goal, assisted by Jose Hernandez, bringing the result to 6-1.
