The Celts opened up their scoring fast, with Gabe Salako notching a goal within the first six minutes of play. The 1-0 lead persisted until the 67th minute when the Warhawks answered with a goal of their own. The stalemate between both teams would continue and a draw was looking likely until the 87th minute. Daniel Castro answered with a goal to give the Celts the 2-1 advantage until the end.
