DYLAN LAMB OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, a senior outfielder from Vacaville, Calif., has been named the SCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week for games played from Monday, April 15 through Sunday, April 21. Lamb was outstanding at the plate last weekend for St. Thomas, leading the Celts to a key SCAC series win over Schreiner. Needing to keep pace to try and clinch a spot in the SCAC Tournament, Lamb batted an impressive .643 at the plate, going 9-for-14 with seven RBI and seven runs scored. Lamb accounted for six extra base hits, highlighted by a three triples performance in the rubber match victory on Saturday. He is just the third different player in SCAC history to hit three triples in one game, the first since 2005 and the first to do so in an SCAC contest. He drew two walks during the series to post an outstanding .706 on-base percentage and accounted for an overwhelming 1.500 slugging percentage.
