Men's Tennis Falls to UTD

RICHARDSON,TX- University of St. Thomas men's tennis team hit the road for a tough matchup against UT Dallas, ultimately falling 5-0. With the loss, the Celts move to 1-1 on the season as they shift their focus toward conference competition.

In doubles play, the Celts fought hard but couldn't secure a victory. Steven Kuang and Raja Pandya fell 6-1, while the duos of Sawyer White & Hunter Kemball-Cook and Wilson Salazar & Pooya Tork both dropped their matches 6-2.

The challenges continued in singles, where Kuang battled but fell 6-4, 6-1. Pandya kept things competitive in the second set but came up short, 6-0, 7-5. Tork, White, and Salazar each faced tough opponents, with Salazar's match ending in a 6-4, 4-2 result. Michael Haranczyk's match was left unfinished at 3-1.

Despite the setback, the Celts remain determined as they prepare for the start of conference play.
