Men's Tennis was competitive in their non-conference opening match against Concordia. After close scores across singles and doubles, the Celts were unable to take a match off the Tornadoes and lost 9-0.
Kicking things off for the Celts in doubles were Rodrigo Yoshikata and Jace Ware. The top-line duo was able to generate just three points off the Tornadoes and lost 8-3. Right behind them was Tyler Head and Race Haas as they saw more success keeping it close before Concordia took a lead and won 8-5. Finally, Zhanlue Kuang and Carson Steele also were competitive with Concordia as they took five sets, but unfortunately fell 8-5 at the end of their match.
In singles, the Celts were unable to win any of their matches but were competitive in each of them, taking sets off Concordia to keep things close. However, at the end of the match, Concordia won all nine matches, taking the opening series from St. Thomas 9-0.
