Luis has an extensive background in competitive tennis, having competed at both the state and national levels throughout his junior career in Texas. He continued his passion for the sport in college, representing Bowdoin as a dedicated member of their tennis team. His collegiate experience honed his skills both on and off the court, fostering a deep understanding of strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Before beginning his graduate studies, Luis brings his expertise to the University of St. Thomas for the 2024-2025 season, stepping into the role of assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams. His unique blend of competitive experience and commitment to player development makes him a valuable asset to the UST tennis program.
