
The University of St. Thomas Men's Tennis team fell short against the Schreiner University Mountaineers, 6-3
The Celts started off with high intensity in their games as they went 1-1 in the first two doubles matches. Juanrodrigo Lopez and Jace Ware were able to take home a point in their doubles match with a hard fought 8-7 game against the Mountaineers; Race Haas and Tyler Head lost by a slim margin in an 7-8 match in line two. The Celts suffered some unfortunate circumstances as they had to forfeit line three of doubles. Singles went in favor of the Mountaineers, but the Celts' Tyler Head and Dorian Cudina were able to take their matches in a triumphant manner. Dorian Cudina fought for his win in the last match of the day with his game going deep into a third set.
The Men's Tennis team looks to fight for their next victory tomorrow as they travel to Trinity to face the Tigers.
