
The University of St. Thomas Men's Tennis team dropped a heartbreaker to the LeTourneau YellowJackets.
The Celts took a promising lead winning two of the three doubles matches due to the convincing wins from Juanrodrigo Lopez and Jace Ware on line two, and Dorian Cudina and Carson Steele on line three. The Men's singles ended with the YellowJackets winning 4 of the 6 matches which ensured them the 5-4 victory. Race Haas who has been a force for UST, dropped a tight match in line two of singles. "Race Haas fought a hard match and that's all you can ask from your players" Head Coach Jack Brasington said. "He left everything on the court and I'm really proud of him even though it didn't go his way.".
The Men's Tennis team looks to get back on track as they host Trinity University on Sunday.
