Race Haas (Friendswood, Texas) and Tyler Head (Sweeny, Texas) have been named the Southern Colligate Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week.

The duo kicked off their second conference match against Austin College with a dominating 8-1 victory in line two of doubles. This was their first doubles victory of the year which also resulted in the Celts picking up their first win of the season collectively.

"We've definitely worked hard the past few weeks, so it feels great to get some wins and play some good doubles" Sophomore Tyler Head said. "Big thanks to SCAC for naming us doubles team of the week. Also big thanks to UST athletics for the support."

Head would remain undefeated on the day as he breezed past his Austin College challenger 6-4,6-1 in line three of singles.  

Race Haas would go on to claim the win in singles as well as he defeated his opponent in line two of singles 6-2,6-2.

Men's Tennis returns to the court this weekend as they travel to Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran University.
