
HOUSTON, TX- St. Thomas Women's Indoor Track & Field team reached new heights, earning a program-best 7th-place finish in the West Region rankings. This milestone marks the highest regional ranking in program history, with the Celts finishing just behind SCAC rivals Trinity and McMurry.
Several standout performances contributed to this historic achievement. Trinity Provost impressed across multiple events, securing 7th in the 60m, 3rd in the 200m, and 6th in the 400m. Makayla Powell also delivered, placing 9th in the 200m, while Christina Stinson claimed 7th in the 400m. In distance events, Alejandra Ramon took 8th in the 5,000m.
The Celts capped off their performance with a strong 3rd-place finish in the 4x400m relay, adding crucial points to their team ranking. With this historic indoor season, UST Women's Track & Field continues to establish itself as a rising force in the region.
