
BATON ROUGE, LA-UST Women's Track & Field team closed out their indoor season in Baton Rouge with a string of personal bests and top finishes at the LSU Twilight.
In the 60m dash, Quaderta Wilburn blazed to a personal best of 8.00, tying for the second-fastest time in program history. Ny'Cierra Hinton (8.13) and Jakayla Ray (8.33) also set new personal records in the event.
Makayla Powell stole the show in the 200m, taking first place with a personal-best time of 26.44. She continued her momentum in the 400m, where she placed ninth (1:01.50), while Trinity Provost secured a top-five finish, clocking 1:00.17.
More personal bests came in the 400m as Grace Pearson (1:03.12) and Lexie Allred Rojas (1:05.21) delivered strong performances. The 800m saw major program history as Elizabeth Stepaniak ran 2:29.29, moving into second all-time in UST history. Samantha Hernandez (2:32.02) and Elyssa Rodarte (2:32.18) weren't far behind, ranking third and fourth all-time, respectively.
