
GEORGETOWN,TX- St. Thomas Women's Track & Field team made an impressive mark at their first outdoor meet of the season in Georgetown, Texas, setting new records and earning strong finishes in several events.
The highlight of the day came from the women's 4x100 relay team—Quadetra Wilburn, Kaela Sawyers, Trinity Provost, and Nya Hinton—who won the race with a school-record time of 47.61. Wilburn also claimed victory in the 100m with a time of 12.44, while Hinton (12.50) and Sawyers (12.53) finished third and fourth, respectively.
Samantha Hernandez made history by breaking the school record in the 1500m, finishing 6th with a time of 4:59.46. In the 400m, Nelsy Vera and Elyssa Rodarte put up strong performances, crossing the line in 1:03.34 and 1:03.63, respectively.
