
LUBBOCK,TX- St. Thomas women's track and field team put together an impressive showing at the Jarvis Invite, highlighted by a record-breaking performance and strong finishes across the board.
Trinity Provost stole the spotlight in the 200m, clocking a new school record of 25.40, further establishing herself as one of the top sprinters in program history. Kaela Sawyers followed with a season-best 26.28, showing continued improvement in the event.
In distance action, Samantha Hernandez battled through the mile, finishing in 5:39.67. Meanwhile, the women's 4x400m relay team of Selest Edwards, Grace Pearson, Makayla Powell, and Provost posted a strong 4:07.33, closing the day with an encouraging effort.
