Women's Soccer Edged after Shootout with Dallas

Women's Soccer fell in a shootout to Dallas Friday night after a 3-2 decision. The Celts drop to 1-3-2 in conference play with one match remaining in the regular season.

The Celts would open up their last conference weekend with a bang, netting both of their goals within the first 40 minutes. Ashley Macias would score her first goal of the season to put the Celts on the board first after a strike from the right side of the box. Nearly 10 minutes later, Isabella Rivera would record her first goal of the season as well after a skillful attack would sail over the Crusader's keeper to push the advantage to two.

The scoring would continue, however this time it would be Dallas clawing their way back into the game. The Crusaders would catch fire and score a pair of goals before heading into the half.

With the match tied at two a piece, Dallas would strike with 57th minute and apply the pressure to the Celts. Unfortunately, St. Thomas would fail to convert on their opportunities and fall in regulation, 3-2.
