Women's Soccer completed the sweep over Texas Lutheran and picked up their second win of the season after a 1-0 decision. The Celts victory was followed by Senior Night festivities in which Samantha Orozco, Cynthia Mendoza and Elidaisy Ortuno were honored.

After a first half with little to no scoring threats by either team, St. Thomas would produce an exciting second half which featured the Celts' offense clicking. Just seven minutes into frame, Karson Funderburk would serve up a ball Emily McCoy, who would find the back of the net. This strike would kick off a frenzy of St. Thomas shots to finish the half, but McCoy's would be the only one to connect.

Defensively, the Celts would record the clean sheet, behind Briana Salinas' two saves. This is their fourth shutout of the year.

The Celts continue conference play with Southwestern this Sunday at 1:00PM.
