Alexis Bodunrin, a sophomore outside hitter from Tomball, Texas, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, November 4, through Sunday, November 10.

Bodunrin recorded 46 kills, averaging an impressive 4.18 kills per set and a hitting percentage of .327 in the Celts' three matches on the week. Her powerful and efficient offense helped the Celts secure key points, as the sophomore hammered home 16 kills in each of the team's conference wins against Schreiner and Concordia (Texas). 

Head Coach Keanne Burt commended Bodunrin's performance, stating, "I'm Excited for Alexis to get the recognition we feel like she deserves. She had a great weekend for us in the last round of the conference to help us boost our seeding leading into the conference tournament."

The Celts are now gearing up to face Colorado College in the first round of the SCAC Volleyball Tournament. With Bodunrin's stellar performance adding momentum to the team, the Celts are entering the tournament with high energy and confidence.
