
HOUSTON, TX- St. Thomas junior Trinity Provost has been named the SCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her standout performances in meets held from Monday, March 17, through Sunday, March 23.
Provost delivered a dominant showing at the TLU D3 Challenge, helping the Celts secure a first-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay with a conference-leading time of 47.29 seconds, which currently ranks third in the nation. She followed up with another first-place finish in the 200 meters, clocking an NCAA Division III-leading time of 24.64 seconds.
Head coach Jarrick Wright praised Provost's commitment to improvement. "Trinity is having a great outdoor season. She is always striving to better her performance, and I'm excited to see her build off this race," Wright said.
With her record-setting performances, Provost continues to make her mark on the national stage as she looks to carry this momentum into the rest of the season.
