AUSTIN,TX-  UST women's tennis team fought hard in Austin but came up short against Concordia, falling 5-2. The Celts now hold a 7-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in conference play.

In doubles action, UST secured a victory as Adriana Iturralde and Hannah Snyder claimed a 6-4 win. However, Concordia took the other two doubles matches to earn the early lead.

In singles, Lucia Rodriguez delivered a strong performance, winning a three-set battle 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. Aimee Tran also picked up a win, rallying from a set down to take a 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 victory.
