
Women's Tennis had their second SCAC win this weekend against Schreiner this Saturday morning. The Celts showed poise, dominating Schreiner 7-2 for their second straight win.
In doubles, the duo of Anamaria Gonzlaez and Karissa Guzman started the Celts off hot taking line one 8-3. Then in line two, Alejandra Lopez and Ella Mullins showcased their skills and won 8-2 to give St. Thomas the 2-1 lead heading into singles.
In singles, the Celts won four of the five matches. Anamaria Gonzalez continued her stellar day taking her match in two sets 6-0, 6-3. Then Alejandra Lopez limited her opponent to just one point winning her matches 6-0, 6-1. In line three, Ella Mullins edged her opponent 7-6, and 6-2, before Karissa Guzman won her matches convincingly 6-2, 6-1. Lastly, Regina Perez capped off the Celts' day with a win taking her match 8-2.
