UST Women's Tennis fell against the Concordia Tornados, 2-7.
The Celts yet again found themselves playing down a player in their regional bout in Austin, Texas. Ultimately, this would cost them two points and would force them to play uphill for the entire contest. Even with the two-point disadvantage, the women's put up a strong fight as many of the games were very competitive. Asan Atilla and Karissa Guzman nearly stole a point in their closely contested match, but Concordia would edge the scrappy Celts. In singles, Alyssa Davila and Karissa Guzman were able to capitalize and secure the Celts' only points of the contest.
The Women's Tennis team looks to fight for their next victory as they begin their journey in the SCAC tournament on the Thursday the 29th.
