The University of St. Thomas Women's team won against the Schreiner University Mountaineers in a hard-fought victory, 5-4.

The Celts started off slow as they only won one of the three doubles matches. Ana Maria Gonzalez and Alejandra Lopez secured the doubles point for the Celts in a long match ending in the 8-4 victory. The women's team turned it on in the second half of the day as they went into the singles matches. The Celts out performed the Mountaineers by winning 4 of the 6 singles matches. Matches were taken by Ana maria Gonzalez, Alejandra Lopez, Alyssa Davila, and Karissa Guzman who all won their games in only two sets.
