GARLAND,TX- St. Thomas swim team kept the momentum rolling on Day 3 of the SCAC Swimming & Diving Championships, delivering standout performances and personal bests as they continued to make their mark in the conference.
Ava Verret put together an impressive swim in the 400 IM, breaking the five-minute barrier with a 4:59.55 finish. Her strong back-half push helped her secure key points for the Celts.
The men's 200-yard freestyle saw a trio of Celts battle it out, with Oscar Mayorga leading the charge in 1:45.84, placing 10th. Right behind him, Charles Wallace touched in 1:46.36, while freshman TaylorLee Goebel fought through the field to finish in 1:49.76. Their performances showcased the depth and determination of the men's squad.
