Men's Cross Country travelled to Austin, Texas to compete in the Concordia Classic. The Celts finished fifth in a field of fourteen teams. Andres Padron would lead St. Thomas placing second overall in the 8k race.
This marks the second time the freshman would finish first among all Celts. Padron would push a 5:15 mile pace en route to clocking a 26:09 time. Junior, Lucas Wolf would yet again have a solid performance, finishing 17th overall. Only seven finishers later, Jaxon Boyd (27:43) would lock in a 24th place performance. Riley Gould would have his best performance of the year, running a 29:59 while pushing a 6:02 mile pace. Wrapping up the Celts top five would be Carlos Hinojosa. Hinojosa would finish 62nd overall and post a 30:22 time.
The Celts will compete again next weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the Chile Pepper Invitational.
