Men's Cross Country had a strong showing at the Nory Hersey Rice Invitational in a field of nearly all Division I teams. The Celts finished in eighth place, while freshman Jhancarlos Carpio would lead the way for the Celts.
Carpio would place 26th while running a 20:22 time, pushing a 3:24/K pace. Only three finishers later, fellow freshman Andres Padron would clock in a 20:25 time—locking in 29th place. James Urbina would be the next Celt to cross the finish line, this time in 20 minutes and 58 seconds. Jaxon Boyd and Lucas Wolf would finish back-to-back as Boyd would post a 21:22 time, while Wolf recorded a 21:28 time.
The Celts will compete in the Concordia Invitational on September 24th.
