Women's Swimming faced off against conference competition at McMurry University this past weekend. After two days of races, the Celts posted fast times, including multiple first place finishes. 

Friday's first race was the 500 freestyle as Ava Verret and Allyson Pantin secured second and third place with times of 6:12.47 and 6:23.62. Following this Kelsy Elgar stood first on the podium in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:24.98. 

Then in the 100 freestyle, Emely Lopez and Allyson Pantin finished second and third logging 1:05.66 and 1:05.86. 

Lastly, the quartet of Lopez, Pantin, Verret, and Elgar was edged in the 200 freestyle relay and finished second place with a time of 1:56.16. 

Then on Saturday, Ava Verret picked up where she left off, winning the 400 individual medley logging 5:23.69 and the 100 yard butterfly at 1:09.73. 

Next in the 200 free, Kelsy Elgar and Allyson Pantin finished second and third with times of 2:13.67 and 2:21.62. Elgar then followed up with a first place finish in the 100 backstroke logging a 1:06.12. 

Finally, Allyson Pantin in the 1000 free, finished second with a time of 12:55.42 before the foursome finished second in the 400 freestyle 4:19.43.
