SHERMAN,TX- The University of St. Thomas swim teams traveled to Sherman, Texas, for the Austin College Invitational, competing against a challenging field that included Trinity University, Oklahoma Christian University, Austin College, and McMurry University. The men's and women's teams battled fiercely, demonstrating their resilience and teamwork throughout the meet.

Sophomore Oscar Mayorga headlined the Celts' efforts with a spectacular victory in the 500-yard freestyle. Mayorga's thrilling come-from-behind win showcased his determination and ability to close strong under pressure, earning valuable points for the team.

The women's team showed grit and growth, taking on experienced competitors from larger programs. While no individual victories were claimed, the team's unity and focus highlighted their potential as they look to build on their performance in future meets.
