The University of St Thomas Women's Cross Country team competed at the Nory Hersey Rice Invitational. Against a tough field including Five Division I programs, the Celts finished 7th place.

Senior Sophia Sanchez continued where she left off, picking up the Celt's highest finish at 41st place, clocking a time of 17 flat. Ana Luna was not far behind at 47th place finishing with 17:23. Finally, right behind her at 48th was Ashley Martinez who locked a time of 17:30. 

Women's Cross Country is back in action on September 24th at the Concordia Invitational.
