Jack Follis

Jack Follis

Dr. Jack Follis is an associate professor in the mathematics department. A longtime supporter of Celt athletics, he took on the role of Faculty Athletics Representative in 2019.

 

A UST alumnus, he graduated from UST in 1994 with degrees in math and philosophy. After earning a Master of Science degree from Texas Tech University in 1999, Follis returned to UST and obtained a Master of Liberal Arts degree in History in 2002.

 

Follis earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biostatistics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

 

Dr. Follis teaches all areas of mathematics with a focus on statistics. His research areas include biological time series analysis, genetic epidemiology, statistical methods in epidemiology, epilepsy and neurological disorders, and history of mathematics.
