Mia Terry, a freshman shortstop from Texas City, Texas, earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second Team All-Region honors. NFCA member coaches voted on the teams in their respective regions, and all honorees are eligible for selection to the 2021 NFCA Division III All-America squads.
Terry, who played an integral role in the Celts success this season, turned heads both on defense and in the batter's box. The freshman hit a remarkable .525, which was second highest in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. She also had a team-best .520 on-base percentage to go along with her 22 RBIs. Terry was tabbed First Team All- SCAC and was named the SCAC Hitter of the Week following her dominant performance over Austin College where she hit .700 and drove in six runs.
