Men's Soccer Advances to SCAC Championship

For the second consecutive year, Men's Soccer has punched their ticket to the SCAC Championship match, after a 1-0 victory over Southwestern.

The Celts would only put one shot on goal for the entirety of the match but use this opportunity to the fullest. In the 30th minute, a ball crossed by Daniel Castro would find the foot of Fabian Delgado for the St. Thomas' lone goal.

Defensively, the Celts would stifle the Pirates' attack, only surrendering three shots on goal for the match. Sophomore Goalkeeper, Rodrigo Lazo, would corral three saves and secure the team's eighth clean sheet of the season.

St. Thomas will face off with conference foe, Trinity University, for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title. Kickoff is set for 1:00PM on Sunday, November 7th.
