Celts Draw with Pirates, 0-0

Men's Soccer travelled to Georgetown, Texas to take on the Southwestern Pirates in a non-counting conference match. The contest went the full distance and ended in a scoreless tie.

It was as close as a game can get as the Celts and Pirates nearly mirrored each other in every statistical category. The Celts defense walked away with its third clean sheet of the season while Rodrigo Lazo recorded a game-high six saves. Offensively Eddie Molina, Ian Alvarez and Dany Ramirez would lead St. Thomas in shots with three. However, they were unable to capitalize which resulted in the Celts first draw of the year.

The Celts will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Seguin to face off with the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.
