UST Men's Soccer loses 4-1 to Florida National University

Houston, TX. – The University of St Thomas Men's Soccer team lost a 4-1 tilt to Florida National University on Thursday afternoon at Houston Sports Park. Both teams threatened to score in the first stanza only to come up short. The game opened up in the 2^ndhalf with the Celts going down 4-0 before a goal by Nick Seydler (FR/Pearland, Texas) in the 89^thminute ended FNU's quest for a shutout.

Both UST and FNU finished with 8 shots on goal and the Celts held a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks.
